ASM カメラバッグ？

以前オーダーしていたカメラバッグが完成して手元に到着しました。オレンジ／白・ライムグリーン／白・ダークレッド・ダークブラウン・少し日焼けしたヌメ革ブラウンの5色です。外には電池やメモリーを収納できるポケットを左右2箇所に設け、さらにLAMYボールペンを挿せるペン挿しも用意しました。内側はレカロシートにも使われるアルカンターラを採用、特にライムグリーン／白モデルは内部のウレタンを全てレカロ製にすると言うスペシャルモデルになっています。

「カメラバッグに見えないこと」を絶対的な条件にしているので、当初のデザイン段階では製造のことを考慮せず自由にイメージを作ってみました。多少収納性を落としてもイラスト通りに製作してデザインを優先させようかとも思ったのですが、最終的には電池パック装着状態での収容など使い勝手の良さとカメラバッグに見えないデザインとのバランスでシンプルな楕円デザインを採用しました。

この製品、革職人さんがデザイン・縫製している段階でかなり話題になったそうです。思い切り手間とコストをかけて、やってみたいと誰もが思うけどそれを理解できる人が世の中に何人いるの？と聞かれたら自信がないので手が出せない、そんな領域にある作品だから、「出来上がったら見てみたい」と言う声がたくさん寄せられたそうです。ところがASMにはこれを理解できる人が5人いて、5つのバッグは既に全部売約済みです。ライムグリーンは自分用に作ったのですが、お客さんが「どうしてもこれがいい」と言うことで泣く泣く譲り、この濃い目のブラウンのモノを選びました。今日は朝から意味が理解できない嫌な出来事がありましたが、カメラバッグを見た瞬間、そんなくだらないことすっかり忘れてご機嫌です。

■ASM カメラバッグ？　199,500円

The camera bag which I have ordered before has arrived today. Orange with White, Lime green with White, White, Dark red, Dark Brown and a bit tanned brown. It’s with two pockets on the out side to put batteries and memory cards, and a slot for the LAMY pen. For the interior, I have chosen alcantara which is the same material used on the RECARO seats. as specially with the Lime green model, I have used urethane from RECARO.

I wanted to make it which did not look like a camera bag. So on the first sketches I drew, I didn’t think about manufacture and had a free image of it. even though the capacity of the bag might drop, I wanted to make it exactly like the design I drew, but in the end which the battery pack attached to the camera can be fitted and usable design which you can see on the photos. Which is a simple design and does not look like a camera bag.

About this product, while designing producing this item, it was on topic with our regular customers. How many people out there, who will understand the time and cost added to this item, many wanted to see the finished product and five from our regular customers has purchased these bags. The lime green I have made it especially for my self but one of them wanted it badly so I chose the dark brown one.
